FIM MXGP came to close at Lusail International Circuit last Saturday with the world best motocross riders competing and proving their excellence under floodlights here in Qatar.
The whole event was well organized and facilitated the expectations of the spectators! The German rider Max Nagl of Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory Racing clenched the MXGP Round 1 championship. Rockstar Energy Suzuki World’s Clement Desalle and Team HRC’s Gautier Paulin made to the podium by securing second and the third places respectively.The MX2 championship winner was Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jeffrey Herlings. Standing Construct Yamaha Yamalube’s Julien Lieber took the second position and Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Dylan Ferrandis was third after a tough competition.
How thrilling it was to see the riders displaying their passion here in Qatar. It was incredibly breathtaking to see some remarkable stunts and racing spirit.
Women did not fall short either! The winner of the 2015 FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship was Team One One Four’s Livia Lancelot. Yamaha MXFontaracing’s Kiara Fontanesi and Monster Energy Bud Racing Kawasaki’s Meghan Rutledge made it to the podium by securing second and the third place respectively.
The girls showed their extraordinary skills and amazed the spectators.
