Enjoy the personal experience of Suh-Chi a Rush360' team member who readily accepted the invitation of Swiss Gastronomic Week dinner at Grand Hyatt Doha's  signature restaurant The Grill.

The most significant and important meal of the day came from a Swiss dinner which hosted many regional dishes in Switzerland. The abominable habit of dining at seven in the evening was postulated by an English traveler to Paris around the time of the first French empire. This excellent idea was brought up by the luxurious Grand Hyatt which is a 5-Star hotel in Doha-Qatar located on the shoreline of the new West Bay Lagoon district. GPS Location of Grand Hyatt can be found at www.rush360.qa by searching for Grand Hyatt.

The Grill which appears to be one of the best restaurants hosted a massive turn out of people on April 30th the date set for the dinner. Swiss food is usually influenced by French, German and north Italian cuisine with lots of regional dishes, many of which are based on cheese and potatoes.

There were different kinds of Swiss meals set for consumption; a host of them are as follows;
Switzerland menu - Cheese fondue, Rösti, Bircherműesli, Raclette, Bűndnernusstorte, Saffron risotto, Zurchergeschnetzeltes, Zopf, Berner platte, Älplermagronen,Crabs; poached blue crabs, lobsters

New Zealand Green Upper Mussels and a number of sauces; tar tar sauce, hot sauce, and one of the favorites Cocktail Sauce. Delicious indeed!

The Swiss cake captured the attentions of all  with its colour and taste!

Delicious!
The guest seems to have really enjoyed their evening with family and friends as we could see their bright and happy faces at the dinner table!

A number of activities accompanied the dinner one of which was the live-music from a lovely Swiss band. The mixture of band accounted for the mixture in style and manner of performance.

The live traditional music was typical Swiss culture with applauds coming from the guests at every one rhythm. They made the environment so exciting such that every individual wanted to try-out the coin-bowl.

The coin was twirled in a bowl with someone holding and keeping it whirled inside the bowl producing sound.

It was so much fun doing it, so exciting and stirring. The dinner was not just a dinner but preeminent dinner especially with the “yublin” which brought out spirit of the evening star. And a final pose before saying good bye!
