It was interesting to see Mawater Centre which is part of Ministry of Youth and Sports displaying some vintage models taking the elderly spectators down memory lane and providing the opportunity to the younger generation to understand the motor trends of the past.
Mawater Centre was formed with the main objective of gathering the youth of Qatar who are interested in vehicles and motor related fields under one umbrella to exchange ideas and make them involved in events and professional activities while enhancing their skills. Their events are interesting and educational. This year's Qatar Motor Show provided one of the ideal platforms for the centre to work towards their goals.
Here are some fascinating exhibits that were displayed at the Mawater Stand!
MINI ALL4 Racing car that won the Paris Dakar Rally 2015 driven by Qatar Rally Team driver Nasser Al-Attiyah and co-driver Matthieu Baumel at the rally was also on display. Qatar Motor Show also saw the surprise visit of Nasser Al Attiyah on the closing day.
‘One Second Campaign’, launched by the Ministry of Interior and conducted by the Traffic Department also attracted visitors above 16 years old to enjoy driving a 3D simulator in accordance with the Qatari traffic rules and regulations. The younger visitors enjoyed some colouring activities at the One Second booth!
On the whole Qatar Motor Show 2015 was a memorable event and Rush360' Qatar was indeed honoured to be one of the digital media partners. We thank the organizers and Havas Worldwide Doha for providing us the opportunity to work with them.
