Origami Bag Design Exploration - February

VCUQatar is offering Origami Bag Design Exploration classes this spring. Participants must buy their own materials and bring along. Payment can be made online here or visit the VCUQatar shop in-person registration.

Students/ Participants will explore and create their own origami bag or clutch design beginning from research, conceptualization, visual representation through sketches, mood boards and create paper as well as draft fabric sample before they create and present their final piece.

The outcome will be some exciting functioning origami bag/clutch designs that you can own!

Students will learn the conceptualization and visualization of their item, as well as go through the process of making it. By the end of this course, students will not only learn how to create a bag/clutch design (pattern making, cutting & sewing the bag), but also capture the process involved in designing and creating, as well as visually marketing any product.

Start: Sat, 7 Feb, 2015
End: Sat, 11 Apr, 2015
Lessons: 8, no classes on March 7th and 14th
Days: Saturdays
Time: 1.30 PM - 3.30 PM
