Collage with Discarded Materials - February

Collage is a technique used mostly in visual arts where the artwork is created from assembling and using many different materials, forms and methods.

VCUQatar is offering Collage with Discarded Materials classes this spring. Participants must buy their own materials and bring along. Payment can be made online here or visit the VCUQatar shop in-person registration.

Participants will discover the beauty and potential within what we normally discard.

Guided projects will culminate in 4 or more finished pieces depending on individual's pace of work. MH will introduce participants to techniques for creating collages out of an array discarded materials such as plastic bags, envelopes, magazines, product boxes, paper bags and newspapers and discarded clothes

Start: Sat, 7 Feb, 2015

End: Sat, 11 Apr, 2015

Lessons: 8, no classes on March 7th and 14th

Days: Saturdays

Time: 10am - 1pm
