Shibori Silk Dyeing - January

View this post here

Shibori is an art invented by the Japanese. Rather than treating cloth as a two-dimensional flat surface, shibori techniques give it a three-dimensional form by folding, crumpling, stitching, plaiting, or plucking and twisting.

VCUQatar is offering Shibori Silk Dyeing classes this spring. Participants must buy their own materials and bring along. Payment can be made online here or visit the VCUQatar shop in-person registration.
